During recent meetings in Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic, NK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., led by Chairwoman Kristina Hagiwara, presented an investment and development plan to establish high-quality agricultural production and processing zones in four southern provinces of Laos. The project aims to implement large-scale operations utilizing advanced Japanese technologies and techniques to create sustainable agricultural production areas with on-site processing facilities dedicated to export markets. The initiative includes the application of modern technologies to develop efficient organic farming models and effective production management systems.

NK HOLDINGS also expressed a commitment to supporting local farmers and enterprises by transferring knowledge on soil treatment techniques, cultivation methods, and providing assistance with processing and exporting.

The Lao government expressed a strong desire to collaborate actively in establishing cultivation techniques and commercialization expertise, confirming robust support for the project's implementation. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry particularly appreciated NK HOLDINGS' willingness to partner with local businesses and farmers, transfer technology, build sustainable agricultural models, and commit to increasing sustainable income for the local workforce.
