The Journey of Our Honey - Nature's Purest Gift from Vietnam's Highlands

From Highland Forests to the World - A Story Rooted in Harmony with NatureOur journey began with a simple but powerful principle: no chemical fertilizers, no artificial inputs. To support this philosophy, we introduced beekeeping to improve pollination on our coffee, cashew, and organic fruit plantations in Gia Lai—Vietnam's highland province known for its vast rubber forests, coffee plateaus, and clean natural ecosystems. But when the flowering season ended, we faced a turning point. Unable to afford sugar and unwilling to let our bees starve, we turned to local farmers—who introduced us to a centuries-old practice: migratory beekeeping. From there, a new adventure began.

The Seasonal Migration of Bees - Guided by Nature, Across Vietnam's Diverse Landscapes

Every season, our beekeepers guide the colonies through an expertly planned schedule across Vietnam, following the natural flowering calendar:
Dec-Jan
Rubber tree leaf nectar

Bees are moved to Ia Grai, Ia Chia, Duc Co, where old rubber trees shed their leaves and release rich nectar under warm winter sun.

Feb-Apr
Coffee Blossom

The heart of Gia Lai’s highland regions—Chu Pah, Dak Doa, Chu Se—turn into white flower carpets. Bees thrive and collect fragrant, delicate nectar.

Apr-Jun
Young Rubber Blossom:

Bees remain in rubber-rich areas of Chu Pah and Duc Co, gathering lighter honey with a subtle, buttery profile.

Jun-Oct
Acacia (Keo lá tràm):

Colonies are moved along the coastal stretch from Bình Định to Nghệ An, though this dark, smoky honey is rarely harvested for final products.

Oct-Nov
Mint Blossom

Bees migrate to the cliffs of Hà Giang, where organic mint farms yield a cool, menthol-rich honey highly prized by global buyers.

Nov-Dec
Wild Sunflower

A short, vivid bloom around Chư Đăng Ya volcano. However, due to the seasonal decline in bee populations, this honey is rare and limited.

Preserving Nature's Nutrients - The Power of Raw, Unheated Honey

Most commercial honey on the market is heat-treated to extend shelf life and delay crystallization. However, this process destroys the honey's natural enzymes, antioxidants, and living nutrients—turning what should be a natural superfood into a sugar syrup. At NK HOLDINGS, thanks to our advantage of 100% natural, free-range beekeeping on organic farms, we proudly produce raw, unheated honey to preserve its full nutritional profile:
  • Natural enzymes that aid digestion and boost immunity.
  • Antibacterial & antiviral compounds that protect your health,
  • Amino acids, trace minerals, and natural antioxidants that support skin, gut, and metabolic wellness
By avoiding heat processing, we retain the honey's living essence—its purity, vitality, and healing power.
Water Reduction by Centrifugal Vacuum Technology - Gentle, Effective, Nutrient-Safe

After harvesting, our honey is filtered and gently dehumidified using centrifugal vacuum dehydration technology. Operating at only 32-34°C, this method preserves heat-sensitive nutrients while reducing moisture content to an optimal level.

Water content can be reduced to 15%, though our current standard is 20%

Honey crystallization is naturally delayed—up to 6 months to 1 year

Shelf life is extended to 2 years without preservatives or additives

This method not only ensures purity but also enhances the honey's texture, stability, and long-term freshness—meeting international quality standards.
